Girdhar Balwani
As Managing Director, Girdhar ensures value creating, enterprise-wide, business
and market strategies that address where to compete (products, markets, channels,
and customers) and how to compete (competencies and sources of advantage) considering
economic, regulatory, environmental and technological drivers. He oversees the day-to-day
management of the operations of the Indian company and ensures execution of corporate
and operational plans.
Girdhar is a general management, pharmaceutical professional with 28 years of experience
across the Asia-Pacific region out of which over 20 years were in India. He has
demonstrated strengths in sales, marketing and business development and has set
up, nurtured and grown affiliates in the Asia Pacific region (including India).
Prior to joining Invida India, Girdhar was with UCB Pharma for 18 years out of which
the last 7 years were as the Regional General Manager – South & South East Asia.
Girdhar has a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai and a Master of Science
(Pharmaceutical Administration) from Long Island University, New York.
Girisan Kariangal
As Director Marketing, Girisan champions the marketing and regulatory affairs strategy of the company. He ensures a high level of marketing rigor and execution throughout the organization and seamless integration through the commercial value chain, from product planning through launch, commercialization and life cycle management. He is also a core member of the business development team that drives the business strategy involving new launches and acquisitions.
He has more than 20 years of experience; major part of his career being with Dr.Reddy’s and Wockhardt in managerial positions in both sales and marketing functions.
Girisan has done Senior Management Program from IIM Kolkata and has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
Santosh Mahatme
As Director Finance, Santosh has overall responsibility of finance which includes the profitable running of the new and existing business, treasury, governance, compliance, taxation working capital management, audit, planning, budgeting and risk management aspects of the business.
Santosh has 24 years of experience in finance & accounting and worked with companies like Ranbaxy, Eisai, AMRI, and Sterlite. He has achieved success in implementing SAP at different locations; and is a person with strong belief in systems and methods.
He is a qualified Chartered Account and graduate in commerce.
Richa Sanghadia
As Director Human Resources, Richa heads and champions effectiveness in Human Resources, Administration and IT department of the company.
As a core HR practitioner, her most important objective is to ensure an employee-oriented, high performance culture. She emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, Recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Richa has a Masters degree in Industrial Psychology and MBA in HR with 10 years of rich experience in the Human Resource management functions in various companies. She has worked across industries with companies like First Source Solutions, Deutsche Bank & Vodafone Essar Ltd.
Before joining Invida she was with Bristol Myers Squibb.
Agnelo D'silva
As Director Sales, Agnelo has overall responsibility for sales, sales operations, Training and distribution; it includes all parameters of business - CSO, Primary care and Dermatology.
Agnelo has 30 years of rich experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He started his career as Medical Representative with Wockhardt after which he has worked with Janssen Pharmaceutica, Serdia Pharmaceuticals. In 2005 Agnelo joined UCB India as Director Sales and he was with UCB India as Director Institutional Sales and International business before joining Invida.
He is a Science graduate from Bombay University.
